Who: Me!

What: A bracelet made of cards.

When: I made and finished this the day finals were over.

How:

Gather:

  • 2 Cards
  • Jump Rings
  • 2 Clasps
  • 2 pairs of needle nose pliers
  • A crocodile
  • Scissors

This is what a crocodile looks like. Use it to punch four holes in each card slice.

Instead of jump rings, I took apart a charm bracelet and used the chain bits.

Attach the jump rings through the holes until it reaches around your arm. Then attach the clasps.

And: It was a really fun craft to get my creative mojo back.

Wrist

My wrists change every year. After softball ends, I start collecting and making bracelets. Here are what my wrists were adorned with this summer:

Left hand: all except for one, I made. My sister made the pink/purple/red one for me. I’ve had the one with writing on it and the yellow and pink braid for a long time. Especially the yellow/pink bracelet, I’ve had since last summer because it can slide on and off.

Right hand: all by me, these ones are old, the white braid is pilling and I started knotting the chevron a really long time ago. I also wear a navy analog watch on my wrist during school, but I don’t like getting it wet, though it is waterproof, because it slides on my wrist and doesn’t dry.
